About Your Guide – Luke Andrews
I grew up fishing Virginia’s smallmouth bass rivers and brook trout streams as well as many local lakes and ponds for other warm water species. At 15 I started working for the local fly shop and in the next couple years began to tie flies commercially. After completing my bachelors degree in fisheries biology, I took my first trip to Montana where I very quickly fell in love with the west. I immediately packed up and moved to the banks of the Missouri River. After a year of working in a fly shop and spending every spare moment on the water, I started my guide career. Now, at the age of 37 I’ve been lucky enough to have spent the last 14 years sharing my passion of fly fishing with fellow anglers both teaching and learning all along the way.
